Re: Pictures needed of your play area! (simple, Waldorf, or Montessori)

I don't know if mine is really minimal (I have a hard time paring it down more) or if it is simple. I would love Montessori style but just haven't gotten there. But this is ours. It is in the living room (no toys in the bedrooms besides a stack of stuffed animals and a box of legos)

Top green box is wood blocks
bottom green box plastic animals (which I may get rid of, they play with them, but not a ton)
top red box little people, animals, and accessories.
bottom red box all things with wheels
top blue box wood train tracks and trains (not used yet)
bottom blue box is all random toys
Blue wire basket on top is all the 'baby' toys we have now...a silly hammer, 2 wooden rings dh made, a wooden swiss cheese block dh made, a sophie, and a few handmade beanbags.

And the kitchen and doll house in another area of the living room (excuse the extension cords...that is our 'temp' solar setup)
