I have hypothyroidism as well and my OB did bloodwork every 4-6 weeks throughout all 4 of my pregnancies. Most of the time my Synthroid dosage needed to be adjusted with pregnancy. I'm surprised your doctor doesn't check it more often. I was told ignored thyroid disease could case miscarriage.
