My dd is 13 months, and I'm just now really starting to want another. I've had my period back since like 3 months pp, but I knew there was no way my body could physically handle being pregnant after the disaster of an emergency section I had, nor could I handle it emotionally. Now though, my body is healed, I've been having regular cycles for months, and dd is a happy healthy toddler who is on solid food. I still pump every 3 or 4 hours all day, but I don't have to pump at night anymore, so I'm getting regular sleep.
