Re: Do you feel the need to know where your child is?
I don' necessarily need to know exactly where my kids are, but if I expect one thing and they are not doing what they said they would be, I would be irritated.
Having said that, I recall being like 13 and 14 and riding my bike all over my small town, across a busy state highway and so on with my friends. My oldest wasn't all that social, so tha sort of thing never came up with her. But the thought of any of my kids running around like that gives me anxiety. I will be working to get over that as my younger kids get older because I do feel that having that kind of independence is important.
