It doesn't matter what insurance you have, any medical test is YOUR choice. Even the one "required by state law" can be opted out of 99% of the time. Get a list of every routine prenatal test and lab test, and then research each one and the pros and cons of each. Your provider is required to give you this information and seek INFORMED CONSENT before performing any medical test or procedure.
