Most hospitals require that medications be checked by the pharmacy. That's why you need to have them in original containers and checked. Our hospital requires they stay at the nurse station locked up, you just may want to ensure the nurse pulled from your supplies and not from hopspital. They need to keep track of what you take and when. Not that your'e not smart enough, it's just the rule. For meds, if you're bringing them, definitely have that part of your bill itemized and keep a list of what you take and when to compare. That's all I know about!
