I had both and loved the boingos for a little while, but I just didn't like the fit. I feel like the snappi makes the diaper fit better. I have an 18 month old girl and it never has bothered her.
In the boingos defense, I kept trying to stretch it like the snappi. Later I read how you're not supposed to.
OP I would definitely try both! I feel like here on DS people are pretty evenly split on either loving snappis, boingos, or pins.
