It's really hard to tell good wool yarn in a consignment setting. There are a lot of acrylic and blend yarns that can seem like wool. Without doing a burn test or seeing a brand/colorway you recognize, I wouldn't risk it.
Manos yarn is a known quantity, so this was just uneven dye lots or overstock skeins on their normal wool bases. I couldn't accidentally get cotton or acrylic (though cotton is fairly easy to identify if you feel it).
