Re: Twin or Triplet mamas- not finding out gender?
Congratulations! Twins are super fun!
Like you I did not find out the gender of my first and it was a boy, but finding out I was having identical twins was surprise enough for me and I knew right away that I wanted to know the gender! I'm a planner and I wanted to know if I could get away with getting a bit of extra boy stuff or if I should trade my blues for pinks (well, not too much pink). And it was much easier to come up with names too. We found out it they were girls at our 20wk scan.
Also, people LOVE to buy outfits for twins and these being the only girls in our immediate family we got tons of clothes and I hardly had to buy a thing for the first 2 years! People I never would have thought of were bringing my gifts, not sure but I think they felt sorry for me.
Hopefully your family will understand if you decide not to find out, I can imagine that would get super annoying!
