Go back to the doctor.
If it happens again, you want a quick source of sugar (if the doctor confirms its low blood sugar) available to give him-orange juice, glucose tablets, even a little squirt of tube frosting would work if he was nonresponsive. My father had episodes (one even caused a car accident) and keeps glucose tabs in his wallet just in case.
Smaller meals more frequently may help keep his sugar more regular but you may need to test his sugar during the day. The doctor can help you determine the best treatment. Scary! Good luck mama!
