I am afraid I don't have a recipe for scalloped potatoes. I know how they are made. You peel and slice potatoes, par boil (they should be just under done cause you don't want them to mash), drain well and put in a caserole dish or dutch oven, make a cheese sauce (a basic white sauce with sharp cheddar is excellent for this) mix with potatoes and I know in my family ham is traditional in this dish but I prefer them without. Cover with foil and bake until the top gets browned. I wish I could explain it better. This is what is done in my family when scalloped potatoes are asked for.
