Re: Stocking your freezer?

I make crockpot yogurt and the kids eat a TON of it - especially heading in to spring and summer. I did some googling and read about freezing cubes of it in ice cube trays for smoothies, which sounded amazing - stock up/freeze fruits and berries (we grow strawberries and blackberries so I won't buy those most likely) and those are a great snack/mini meal, even for immediately postpartum. I've filled one gallon freezer bag so far (probably 2/3 gallon of actual yogurt volume) and am hoping to have several gallon bags done before baby comes. I stashed another banana bread loaf in the freezer today (kids' new favorite) and have yogurt culturing overnight tonight to start freezing another batch.
