I have the opposite. My fasting numbers are always good, but the after mealtimes are the bad ones. Unfortunately, it is my understanding (someone please correct me if I am wrong) that it is when your fasting numbers are off that it is the hardest to control with diet alone. Since you are fasting, what you have been eating doesn't matter as much.
