My DS had dry patches (I guess it was very mild ezcema) on his elbows and knees for a couple of months. My Ped recomended Eucerin cream and we started rubbing him down with that about 2 times a day. Cleared it up in under a week and it hasn't come back at all.
Hate for ya to give up dairy if that's not really the culprit. I'm a dairy fanatic too.
