i have the same MIL. though she would no longer DARE say one thing about me breastfeeding.

about the baby snatching, it will make you CRAAAAAAAZY as a new mom! make sure your husband knows that he needs to help stand up for you, and just practice saying, "no thanks, we're good right now" or something like that.

i'm on my second baby and i still have trouble keeping my baby snatching MIL from hogging the baby all.the.time. last week i actually had to say to her (when she told me that the baby was NOT hungry) "well my left boob is going to explode if i don't feed him so it IS time for him to nurse". that shut her up for a little bit, and she "let" me take him.
