3 pounds ground beef, 93% lean
2 pounds ground pork
3 tsp cinnamon
3 tsp ground cloves
1 medium onion, finely chopped (I throw in the food processor)
Put about an inch - inch and a half of water in a large stock pot. Add all ingredients, cook on medium heat for 2 - 2.5 hours stirring occasionally.
When its done cooking I usually pour off most of the extra moisture. MIL crushes saltines and mixes them in to soak up the extra moisture. It's good either way
Just don't take all of the extra juices out if you pour it off.
My house smells so yummy right now!!!
I havent ever tried it but it does sound yummy!
