Re: Midwife or OB?

Neither, LOL!

I had my first baby unassisted.

I have diabetes, hypothroid, a blood-clotting disorder, am obese and have PCOS, was infertile for 4 years and needed fertility treatment to conceive and maintain the pregnancy. During the pregnancy, i developed hyperemesis, lost 30 pounds, and my liver shut down around week 35 (obstetric cholestasis).

I was about as "high-risk" as they get.........
and I had a natural, uncomplicated delivery at home with just myself and my husband, and i am 100% sure that the ONLY reason I did, was because I did not let "them" interfere with me.

Birth WORKS, trust birth.
