This sounds great. I grew up in England with tradtional meaty shepherd's pie and I'm so excited to try a good vegetarian alternative...

I like to make quesadillas with these.
Saute 1 onion and 3 garlic cloves.
Add 1 tsp ground cumin & cook for another minute.
Mash or blend 1 can of any beans ( I don't know about garbanzos??) and add it to the onion.
Throw in some chopped or dried parsley, salt and pepper.
Spread the beans on a tortilla and sprinkle some cheese on top and close it with another tortilla.
Put in the toaster oven or microwave until cheese has melted and VOILA
NOTE: tortillas burn quickly in the toaster oven.
