I think thats really awesome that you do that. DH's mom always refused to acknowledge it as anything more than him "acting out" and said he was just to emotional. To this day she still believes its because he doesn't have a job and has too much time on his hands. (her theory is that he wouldn't think so much about meaningless stuff if he had real stuff to think about) Even though I don't think most parents are as ignorant as she, I don't think enough people realize that there is a physical/biological side, and I think its great that you do.
