Our church passed out something a few years ago (it wasn't Bibles. . i want to say it was friendship plants?? can't quite remember) to all the houses in the area surrounding the church. We asked the people if they had any prayer requests, and got an OVERWHELMING response. Someone cried and talked about their spouse's struggle with cancer. Others shared stories of just such incredible pain . . and we were honored that they felt open sharing with us.
