Mama, I'm so sorry that you had that nasty nurse! I've been spectacularly lucky in having a ped nurse who said, "Call me as many times a day as you'd like, and don't worry if you have to ask the same question more than once. That's what I'm here for." I can't remember exactly what she said caused the purple feet, but I do remember that same worry, and I think it was indeed something to do with circulation.
