i read something about this the other day. it has something to do with the stress that the body goes through post partum. It interupts the hair's growth cycle. And, since we had growth hormone helping our hair grow thick and shiny for the previous 9months, there is alot more hair available to lose.

Once the body adjusts to the stress (both external and internal) the hair loss will slow to normal and your normal amount of hair will regrow.

i wish i remember where i read that. I'm almost 3months PP and am shedding terribly. Happened with DS1 as well.
