Re: cheap nursing shirts?

I have a very very simple DIY suggestion that has worked great for me. Buy a 5 pack of men's undershirts. Then cut two vertical slits in each one so that when you are wearing the shirt your boobs are sticking out thru the slits. Then just wear these underneath your regular shirts. When you pull up your shirt to nurse, the undershirt will keep your side and your momma belly covered, and the baby keeps the breast covered. LOL. It works great for me! And you can get undershirts in white, black, gray, and various shades of blue, so you can match your clothes. If you want, you can finish the edges of your slits with a serger or an overedge stitch on a regular machine, but you can just leave them raw and they will just curl a little otherwise.
