That's right! You can just go back home instead of checking into the hospital. I would not check into a hotel though, I would return home, and have a doula there with me. Also, some doula networks provide service for free if not within finances to hire one, or on a sliding scale basis.

"Still in the Fiery Furnace" I lost custody of my children b/c I found a part time job, did not vaccinate my children, and wanted to homeschool them. This was after a NC female judge ordered me to get a job, use $500 (equitable distribution I guess  ) to buy a car that broke down within 4 months, and get a psychological eval b/c my estrange husband accused me of sexually abusing my children through breastfeeding.
