Do you think I could use a hand pump? My Medela PISA came with a hand pump. I've never used it, and I wonder if it will do as good of a job at keeping up supply as the electric pump. (Keeping up supply is my main reason for wanting to pump. I am lucky to have a lot of frozen milk. Although if I'm going to pump, I'd rather not have to throw the milk away.)
As far as the storage goes, LLL says up to 8 days in a refrigerator between 32-39 degrees. Do you think that would be OK if I take a thermometer? What kind of thermometer should I use?
