We dont have allowance here. I buy the kids clothes when I find them on sale but they arent really picky yet.

My mother's cure for the picky name brand thing when my brother and I were teenagers was right before school she would give say $100 for clothes and you bought what you want. Then again at summer time she did the same. I learned how to stretch my $100 to get me a whole closet of clothes while my brother who had to have certain name brands would get maybe 2-3 pants and a couple shirts. He had to make it work til she was ready to give more money. No whining, no begging, no nothing it was our decision to make it work and we did fine like that.
