whoa...
that's just crazy...
i would probably start by (getting hubby to) hosing them down at the bottom of the garden... then hot wash the heck out of them...
mushrooms grow from spores which blow around in the air, so perhaps the dipes had some spores on 'em, and then, to their delight, they found themselves in the perfect growing conditions!
