I nursed my LO immediately after a long hot shower. I just let the hot water hit my breast for a while and pointed the baby's chin toward the plugged duct when I nursed and I had immediate relief. I kept getting them because DS wasn't draining me completely, so I had to pump afterwards. I hope that helps some.
