We do smoothies without any dairy or tofu. We just add fruit, Juice, and ice. The banana will add a better consistancy to the smoothie. If you use water instead of juice...you will need to add some sugar or splenda to it.

Our favorite is Cran/Raspberry Juice with Frozen Raspberries and Blackberries.
