Dh and I were 23 when we decided. I wasn't totally on board but dh got the vas. I've ended up needing a hysterectomy anyway (which was 10/10) so we *are* done and it was decided at 23 (and just made very very permanent last month). We think we'd like to adopt at some point though. Some time when our boys get into school...several years in the future. And this isn't because we weren't able to have anymore biological children, this is something we'd discussed before #2 was born while we were both still very fertile.

I meant to add that I agree with one of the previous posters...I don't think it's age as much as the uncertainty that would make the big V a rash decision.
