My Mood:
Cooking It Old School!

My microwave died last week and it made me realize how much I took the convenience of nuking food for granted. After a few days of last minute panic because I didn't remember to defrost something for dinner and my DH's blank look when I asked him to reheat some pizza,we are slowly relearning how to cook without a microwave. I'm not sure when or even if we will replace it. I would want one of the same brand and same features of my old one and they are pretty pricey. Does anyone know if I can cut open microwave popcorn bags and pop the kernals in a pot on the stove? I have boxes of popcorn,it's my MIL's favorite snack and I don't want it to go to waste.
