The key to cooking fried rice is the amount of water used. When I cook fried rice, I used minute rice, but use half the amount of water. (2 cups water to 4 cups rice) Put soy sauce in the water while you cook the rice.

Use a skillet to cook pork/shrimp/chicken. I also use green onions, yellow onion, bean sprouts, and scrambled egg in my fried rice. I always let the yellow onions green onions and bean sprouts cook with the meat of the meal, because I hate them raw! I don't like the other veggies in it.

Then, toss everything in the wok, mix, heat, and serve.
