I love this thread...I have cooked every meal this week from it and they have all been really tasty and cheap So here is my under $5 meal:

Corn Dog Casserole
take a package of hot dog weenies cut them up add a little onion and saute in a pan. then mix up some jiffy corn bread mix according to directions and throw in your cooked onion and weenies. Bake according to directions.

Super easy and we serve it with a little mustard just like a corndog. Big hit with my kids
