Fither, that is a load of crap! Where did that Ped come from!
My girls all nursed 'til age 2 1/2...youngest now is 18m and nurses for about 75% of her nutrition. There is soooooooooooo much benefit from extended breastfeeding. Even the AAP says that nursing 'til they get their molars is best...which is about age 2.
