Re: Cranberry relish/sauce?
Here's the one we make at Thanksgiving:
1 pkg fresh Ocean Spray cranberries
1 c granulated sugar
1 lg can crushed pineapple, drained
1 pt heavy whipping cream
Grind cranberries in a meat grinder. A food processor will not give the right texture so it's not recommended. Add sugar and drained pineapple and mix until incorporated. Refrigerate overnight (this is very important, otherwise your dish will be really tart). The next day, whip cream until stiff. Fold into cranberry mixture. Can be served immediately or put into a jello mold and frozen.
