Make sure you get plenty of Omega's! Pregnancy and bfing use these up and you should keep them replenished. Omegas have lots to do with mental health, among other things.
I don't know about the safety while bfing but I've heard taking a vit d supplement can help with keeping you happy.
I've been taking zoloft (now available generic ) for depression/pmdd and it really helps. I took it while bfing and pregnancy.
