That is so barbaric looking! I think in 20-30 years pictures like this will be in museums and history books, and people will use it as an example of "look at what our crazy ancestors did to their babies when they were too helpless to protest". Kind of like twilight sleep and those disturbing photos of how they treated women in labour.
