DD for the most part only nursed one side at a time, then got a preference that she'll only nurse the left side at all. I tried to do the "lift, shake, squeeze and weigh" thing for awhile. Then I'd just kind of go with what seemed easier at the time and then she'd only take the left so I quit offering the right~probably not ideal, but we're still nursing a little at 15 months, so I have to say it worked for us!
