Yes, but many providers treat you as less high risk after a successful vbac. However, my midwife learned the hard way that there is still a risk of placenta issues years later; she agreed to take a client of one of her fellow midwives who was having her 4th or 5th vaginal birth after her primary csection, and the mom had an undiagnosed placenta accreta at the original surgery site and lost a lot of blood after the birth. Everything turned out okay; they transferred from the birth center and mom and baby were fine, but it was super scary.
