There isn't much you need if you don't want them.

If you have lanolin (like what you need when bfing) and baby shampoo you can wash and lanolize your wool.

You can use eucalan wool wash and lanolize with the baby shampoo and lanolin or just wash with the baby shampoo and then lanolize. There are so many ways but I started with just the shampoo and lanolin since I already had them.

Now, I just run a tepid sink of water and rub a wool wash bar over the wool and let it sit for 10-15 min (sometimes much longer if I forget) then roll it up in a towel and lay it flat to dry.

I have done the same with eucalan.

There are lots of places with wool wash.
