Yes I think a FWCC would be an easier carry to start with. The video mommaagain posted is a great FWCC tutorial (here it is again: ) and it shows legs out, which I think will help with your positioning as well. Once you get comfortable wrapping the FWCC then I think you'll have more luck with FCC.



ETA: watching this FCC video might help too- it shows legs out with a newborn:
