Re: How to Ruin a Cloth Diaper - blog

While some of it is common sense, I have owned 2 kangacare diapers - a Gumball OS pocket and a Lil'Joey. Both died. The OS pocket's elastic got crunchy and the Lil'Joey delaminated - it looked like the picture of the yellow diaper on the blog. The pocket was rarely used as I hated the fit and the Lil'Joey was hardly used since my babies grow super fast.

I have had way over 100 diapers come through my stash and besides an ALVA, these are the only diapers that have had the elastic and the laminate die on them with very minimal use. My BG 2.0s have been through the wringer and the PUL is still good and the elastic, although quite relaxed, is still stretchy.
