I was told the easiest way was to put them on a strand of yarn, loop it through and tie it closed. THen when you go about picking them back up, you don't chance dropping any stiches. Also are they twisted at all? IDk Is it the kitchener stitch you are having trouble with? here's a good tutorial on that part.. under "finishing:kitchener stitch" HTH
