There are a few things that you can do that will help, but you're not going to "get better" until you can stabilize the physiological problem.

Abdominal breathing: it stimulates the sympathetic nervous system and helps bring your mood up.

Exercise: release of endorphins and practice in focus. Being able to focus will help you release negative thoughts and prevent a down spiral in your mood.
