Breastfeeding and gallbladder surgery

Unfortunately, I am most likely going to have to have my gallbladder removed. (Thank you pg for gallstones! ). I am EBF DS, who is 7 weeks old. I am pumping occasionally to have a stash. DH thinks I should be pumping more b/c he knows someone who had the same surgery and her milk supply dropped drastically. Now, I have tried to explain to him that there are MANY variables with milk supply and that it doesn't mean it will happen with me. Just wanted to know if anyone had experience with this. I am planning on calling the LC before the surgery to see if there is anything "special" I need to do.
