Re: DIY Period Panties - Padded Underwear -- Thoughts?

I still love them and they work great. Maybe I don't have the sexiest underwear on the block by my jeans aren't stained.

Biggest things I learned:
* The inner layer be sure it's attached on the top and bottom unless you are able to pull the fabric REALLY Tight so it can't fold in on itself under there. Make sure it catches on the sides in the middle too JIC.
* Use the same cotton fleece for the inner and outer. The pics I took is using a cotton towel material for the inner layer. Not worth it, the non fraying material is way better for both layers.
* For the best look, if you buy colored underwear be sure to buy matching thread. (Or get all white underwear). With the color ones I used matching thread on the outside and white on the inside.

Outer through the crotch

Some if the pads are stained but mostly the outers of of the undies still look good and my pants have all been saved. Trying to make the pad go to as close to the underwear edge as possible it good to prevent that edge leak.

Overal I am happy. I have converted them all and its all I wear.
