I see many patterns in which the top cotton layer is part of the wing and therfore wraps around and ends up underneath the underwear. Is that okay? I would think it would allow fluid to end up on the outside of the underwear even though there is a waterproof layer. For a heavy bleeder, would this be a problem? I've never used mama cloth, but I am about to make some.
