YELLOW SQUASH RECIPES, PLEASE

We have 8 that need to be picked today. I`d love to incorporate them somehow into tonight`s dinner. HELP !!!!!!

I`m actually wondering why we are growing so many when I have no idea how to use them

please give me some ideas !!!

I make stir fries with them. I make stir fries with anything, actually.

You can also do like a chicken/eggplant parm but use squash instead.

You can mix them in with mashed potatoes.

Puree them and freeze them and add into lasagnas, meatballs, pancake mix, virtually anything!

Squash casserole is one of my favourite foods. Sometimes I do it dry and herb-y with bread crumbs and sometimes I do it gooey with cheese and cracker crumbs on top.

I think this one is really good, if you don't have Ritz type crackers you can use saltines with some melted butter mixed in.

I actually love summer squash. I just wash it, slice it and simmer on the stove with water and a bit of butter and salt. Yummo!!

I'm sure you could slice it up and fry like fried zucchini. I do mine with egg, flour, salt and pepper.

I wish I had the space to plant squash.

I love squash. We usually fry it. I dice it up, with an onion and a good amount of black pepper. Toss with cornmeal to coat and pan fry it in olive oil. My ODD who hates veggies likes this.
