Can I freeze homemade salsa?
I made some this am to use up some tomates that were super ripe. If I froze half would it taste good when I thawed it? Or should I just give it away?

Re: Can I freeze homemade salsa?
Give it away. Tomatoes get too watery when they freeze. Something about their molecular structure and the cell walls bursting.

I disagree- if you pureed the salsa it would be fine. Why don't you just can it though?

I agree with canning it.

Re: Can I freeze homemade salsa?
Is it a fresh salsa or a cooked salsa?? For me, it makes a difference.
