i am so glad to see this......my little one is running all around and climbing on anything she can....she's just beginning to say words, but she certainly understands plenty. how many words do your lo's say consistently? we have maybe 5-10 spoken words, and she can sign about 4.

Ds can say about 5 or so words and signs 6 or so. DD did not talk till closer to 2 and went from almost nothing to sentences almost overnight. DS is into everything.
For those of you BF who is still nursing and how often? DS nurses between 3-6 times a day.

Hi!

I am so excited to see this! Dd was born June 8. She started walking at 13 months. She is now running and climbing on everything. She has even climbed up on the top bunk of the boys bunk beds! She doesn't talk alot. She only says dog, kitty, dada, bye bye, momma, and drink. She follows directions. She does have a temper though. She doesn't like to be told no, make her get off something, or take something away from her and the waterworks flow.
I will post a picture later.

Oh my, my lo has such a temper too! If we tell her no, she will lower her head to the floor as if she is burying her head in the sand.

As for nursing, she is probably nursing on average 5-6 times a day. It sounds like a lot, but she nurses upon waking in the morning, at nap time and to go to sleep at night. Sometimes she wakes at night for a snack and during the day she nurses at least 2 other times. She eats a lot of table food, so I think we are on the right track.

So my 2nd DD (June 12th) has started bitting. I never went through this with my 1st DD. Any suggestions how to get this to stop. We have started time-out but I am on the go so much that it is hard to keep consistant.

My DD was born June 3. She is also into everything and climbing all over. SHe says about 2 dozen or more words and/or phrases. And Temper? OH, MY!!! If she's mad, she sits down, lays back, crosses her arms, and screams. SHe still nurses about 4 times a day.
